Ebb and Flow: Ocean Currents Animation

A view of the currents in the Caribbean Sea and surrounding Jamaica.

This animation of the ocean currents is based on a 7 day forecast and 30 day hindcast from HYCOM, reported in 3 hour time intervals. A product of the HYCOM Consortium, providing access to near real time global based ocean prediction system output. The visualisation was created using a guide by John Nelson.
